A safeguarding audit is a review of your current safeguarding policies and practices, with the aim to identify any risks or gaps at all levels of the organisation.
The way in which audits and reviews are conducted should always be in a partnership that provides honest, independent and factual feedback and recommendations about your organisation’s safeguarding compliance.
All safeguarding audits are evidence-based and are documented in a balanced audit report, including areas of good practice and areas of gaps in operational strategies, as well as recommendations to form an organisational safeguarding action plan.
