Welcome to Making Connections

Who are we?  

We are an established, experienced and well respected training and consultancy provider delivering to local authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS Trusts, Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Housing, voluntary sector organisations and care providers.  We have a great team of trainers and consultants who have operational experience, are experienced trainers with expertise and passion in their specialist areas. 

What do we do?

We provide specialist training in child and adult safeguarding, mental capacity, deprivation of liberty and liberty protection safeguards, adult social care, adult mental health and criminal justice.  Look at our sample courses to give you an idea.

What we offer?

We will provide you with bespoke, flexible and cost-effective training and consultancy to meet your needs.  Our charges are fully inclusive, so no hidden extras.  We have an administrative manager and two administrators, who will work closely with you to ensure that everything runs smoothly before, during and after.

As a company, we are aware that given the current situation, the need to find alternative delivery methods is something that we are actively aware of, and we can provide virtual training and webinars for you, covering all of our courses.  All you need is a laptop, iPad, etc. and access to the internet.

We also deliver short Briefing Sessions, through to 3hr Workshops and Webinars, short live group discussions and Q & A sessions on specific areas as well as 1:1 mentoring.

You can access our virtual learning from your laptop, tablet or mobile phone as long as your device has a microphone.  Our trainers are all experienced trainers/ practitioners across social care, health and within criminal justice.

Our virtual training works best with 12 – 15 people but we can also provide Webinars for up to a maximum of 100 people.
